Benjie Inocencio, the visionary behind Journey Woodblock Enterprises, grew up as the son of a skilled carpenter, which instilled in him a deep appreciation for woodworking. His initial creations were handcrafted wooden toys made for his own enjoyment.

At 15 , Benjie embarked on his journey by starting a simple woodworking business in their backyard. As Lao Tzu once said, "A journey of a thousand miles start with a single step. 

But fate would take him on a detour. He accepted a job offer in Kuwait, but quickly came to the realization that his true passion lies in carpentry.

He made his way back  to his homeland to rekindle his love for woodworking and to offer job opportunities to his fellow Filipinos, so they wouldn't have to go abroad for employment.

Little did he know that upon his return, he would cross paths with Nadia, a woman with strong business acumen, who would later become his business partner and wife. She officially registered Journey Woodblock Enterprises as an official business.

Since then Journey Woodblock steadily grew  through relentless effort, strategic foresight, and a great deal of faith. 

In 2021, they proudly opened their own warehouse in Taguig City to facilitate JWb's operations, focused on offering premium modular cabinets while creating sustainable job opportunities for carpenters and workers in the community.

This is a big leap from the humble backyard where Benjie began his journey.

Driven by a passion for craftsmanship and the skill of Filipino carpenters, JWb will continue to march on to innovate and compete on a global scale.
